Range Safety Officer course is scheduled for February 24 and 25, 2017.
We’re looking for a few good men and woman for Range Safety Officer duty!
Over the years, the EFGA has enjoyed the services of a small but dedicated staff of RSOs. With the larger facilities and increasing amount of events being hosted at the Longest Mile, it’s quickly becoming a priority to increase our numbers.
Range Safety Officer Instructor Ryan Hall will be putting on an Alberta Federation of Shooting Sports RSO course.
The course consists of both classroom time, as well as a hands-on component at our Longest Mile Range.
The classroom component of the course will be held at Parkland Composite High School Friday February 24th from 6pm to 9:30pm
The Range component of the course will be held at the EFGA Longest Mile Range on Saturday, February 25th at 9:30am.
Fee costs are $100 payable directly to the Alberta Federation of Shooting Sports.
If you have any interest in becoming a Range Safety Office for the EFGA’s Longest Mile Range, we would very much like to hear from you. The biggest requirements are simply the desire to learn and to help participate with various events and functions at our range.
