Beautiful Shooting in the Canadian Rocky Mountains

Kevin shared some beautiful photos of if his Remington 700 .338 Lapua at a picturesque range in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. He wrote ..

Shooting for the first time at my new rifle range in the Canadian Rocky Mountains, in Alberta. Edson Fish and Game association, which sports among other shorter pistol, rifle, and shotgun ranges, a 1 mile long rifle range with steel set at various spots downrange.

I was out that day shooting my customized Remington 700 MLR .338 Lapua, which has been seen on this blog before.

It wears a Nightforce NXS 5.5-22x56mm on a 20MOA SPUHR ISMS mount. Brake is an American Precision Arms Fat Bastard, which I can not say enough good things about. Rifle is bedded. I run an Atlas bipod, a custom built cheek riser underneath the stock bag, and a SAP two round velcro holder on the side of the gun by the action for fast reloads.

The view of the mountains is what you see from the firing line when you turn around 180 degrees from the range. One of the most beautiful clubs I have ever had the pleasure to shoot at
