It’s been a full year of construction at the Longest Mile this year. Shelters have been built, trap ranges prepped, roads maintained and a shiny white biffy stands tall. Thank-you to all members who helped accomplish this.

That being said, we would very much appreciate seeing a few more volunteers lend a hand in future range work days. The more the merrier, and we really need to see a few new faces out to join the small core that comes out to roll up their sleeves and pitch in.

Recently, pilings have been installed for the Long Rifle Range shelter. If we can complete some foundation work, this will allow us to finish the siding and roofing during the winter months.

The nature of the work that lies immediately ahead, combined with the time of year, make it hard to establish exact work days.

Please use the form below to put your name forward to assist with future work days. Although not a commitment, we very much need to expand our list of members who are willing to lend a hand developing our range. Of course, any contact information given is kept internally and never shared.

If you have any further questions, don’t hesitate to contact us.
