We very much appreciate the time and materials some of our members invested in painting a handful of the long rifle range’s steel targets white. However, we must remind everyone, as per the rule book, that all steel targets are to be painted only with blaze orange.
Unfortunately, you only have to look out the window to see why this rule is in place.
After experiencing a depressingly short autumn, we’re already blanketed in snow and have barely hit mid-October!
White targets magically disappear when contrasted against a snow-white berm. We are forced to quickly spend some time repainting all gongs.
Again, we appreciate and welcome all efforts to help with range maintenance. When repainting steel targets, always use blaze orange.
