In the event of wet weather / poor ground conditions, the Long Rifle Range will be closed Saturday, September 16th, and Sunday, September the 17th.
A rental for the pistol bay was made much earlier in the season. Due to delayed growth for our hydroseeding project, weather and/or floor conditions may render the pistol bay unusable for the size and scope of the event.
This puts the participants in a precarious situation – no one wants to see the event cancelled in the event of bad weather, especially at the last moment with many arriving from throughout the province. To help accommodate everyone involved, we’ll shift the event to another range. The Long Rifle range is the next best range to provide the necessary space and conditions to conduct a safe and accessible training session.
All other ranges would remain open.
We will do our best to make the necessary judgment call with regards to the weather forecast as early as possible. We’ll aim for no later early Friday, September the 15th. Ultimately, we’re asking that everyone be aware (and plan your range visit accordingly) of the possible closure of the long rifle range September 16 and 17.
Obviously, dry weather conditions will keep the Long Rifle Rage open.
