Hello everyone! Just a quick update to some noteworthy items that were discussed at our recent September monthly meeting.

Due to a clarification in our rec lease this past summer, there is to be no general camping anywhere within the EFGA’s Longest Mile Range. That said, EFGA officials will be able to apply for permission for specific dates. This will allow us to allow overnight camping for approved events and activities. We’ve submitted a number of requests for a handful of planned 2021 events. If you require any additional information or to make a request, email us at info@edosnfishandgame.ca.

That said, the recent inspection resulted in mostly good news and shouldn’t have any excessive challenges to meet. Alberta Environment and Parks was terrific to work with. Huge thank-you to their Senior Lands Officer.

Some updates to the Lost & Found page have been completed. While it looks largely the same, the back-end has been changed to allow for better automation and efficiency. We’d also like to bring the page to your attention as some members aren’t aware we actively post all lost & found items that we’re aware of.

Of particular note is nice MAGPUL stock that was found early summer. Use the following link to have a peek and claim it if it’s yours:

EFGA 2020 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Earmark your calendars for Tuesday, December 1st.

The AGM is tentatively planned to take place at the Galloway Station Museum. Doors open at 7:00pm, meeting starts at 7:30pm sharp.

We plan to continue to offer a membership renewal discount for all current members attending the AGM.

However, the COVID-19 situation may force additional changes. We’re keeping our fingers crossed that restrictions continue to loosen over the next couple of months so we can achieve the required quorum. Additional details will be posted as we get closer to December.
