EFGA GUN BAN INFORMATION & ACTION CENTRE
Justin Trudeau and Bill Blair have launched an attack against Canadian firearm owners. A very non-democratic ‘Order in Council’ instantly banned over 1500 common and legal firearms. Canadians who complied with all the rules, have spent thousands of dollars with government permission, and practice their sport safely, are now facing serious criminal persecution. This cannot be allowed to happen.
Detailed here is EFGA’s stance, recommendations, and action items to help us contribute toward the fight to overturn the Liberal’s gun bans.
Please check back regularly for updates. If you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Over the past month, we’ve seen multiple legal challenges launched against Trudeau’s gun bans. Defending against the Liberal’s undemocratic Order In Council from multiple groups using different strategies may prove to be advantageous. Please consider supporting as many challenges as you can.

Help to promote our shooting sports by engaging and educating your fellow Canadians. Both gun owners and non-gun owners may not have all the facts.
- Help educate non-gun owners as to the current political situation and our laws
- Bring new and potential gun owners to the range
- Call/write our elected officials
Contact our Local MLA and MP
Petitions are an important tool, but contacting politicians directly always sends a more powerful message. A hand written letter, phone call, or visit carries so much more weight than a signature. Direct and personal contact is remembered. Always be brief and respectful. Stay on point.
