Although spring appears to (finally) be here, please be aware that all roads and parking areas are very soft. An unseasonably winter-like April has prevented delayed any drying of the roads.
In order to not to have to completely restrict vehicle access, we are asking that you please navigate the range with much care and attention.
Last years graveling efforts have cost the club over $35,000.00 and we cannot afford to have these areas destroyed. In particular, please do not travel past 1200 meters on the Long Rifle Range as there are bad sports throughout. Conditions are such that no one will be able able to turn around at past this distance without getting stuck.
It typically only takes a solid week or two of conducive weather to help improve conditions. Keeping our fingers crossed we don’t see any more winter in April…
Regards,
EFGA
