Local vs. Affiliate Memberships

Local and Affiliate Members

Each EFGA member shall be defined as either a ‘Local Member’ or ‘Affiliate Member’. Local members reside in Edson and the Yellowhead County area; affiliate members reside outside of the aforementioned districts.

The distinction is made to reflect a member’s voting rights as detailed in our bylaws (please see Article IV (a) for full details on voting rights).

Regardless of membership level, all members enjoy full access to range facilities and are welcome at club events. All member’s contributions are respected and welcome. 

 

Membership Details

Memberships will only be sold to persons 18 years of age or older.

Membership in the Association entitles Member to:

  1. Access to The Longest Mile Gun Range
  2. Participate in all club activities.
  3. The member whose name appears on the membership, including spouse and children under 18 years, is protected by public liability and property damage.

Reasons for this fee structure is to cover operating expenses, improvements and insurance. YEARLY INSURANCE is one of the bigger expenses to the club. It is important to avoid incurring net loss.

Membership Term: Please note that the membership term is for the CALENDAR YEAR and not from when membership was purchased. 2023 Memberships purchased in November are honoured for the remainder of 2022.

Please Note: When purchasing a lifetime membership, each member (primary, spouse, and minor children) are subject to an annual insurance fee of $20/ea (subject to change). Payment is due at the beginning of each calendar year. Once payment is received, you’ll be forwarded the new combination to the range’s entrance gates.
