DESCRIPTION:The Junior Forest Wardens have generously donated some time and labour to help with some range cleanup. \nWe’ll be doing some maintenance on the long rifle range. Once finished\, we’ll host a small shoot as a thank-you. This will take place on the short rifle range. \nThe Long Rifle range will be closed for maintenance on the following date: \n\nSunday\, June 17 from 8:30pm – 12:30pm\n\nThe Short Rifle Range will be closed to host a shoot on the following date: \n\nSunday\, June 17 from 12:30pm – 4:00\n\nGeneral membership may continue to use all other range facilities during this time. \nWe could use another volunteer or two to lend a hand. DESCRIPTION:The Long Rifle Range will be closed for maintenance on Thursday\, September the 28th. \nThe Pistol Bay will also be closed intermittently during this time.\nAlthough a short notice\, there’s an opportunity to take advantage of some heavy equipment onsite that will greatly expedite the maintenance that needs to be done on the long rifle range. \nFurther\, we’ll take advantage of the small crew onsite proceed with some fertilization in the pistol bay. The is the next step in helping to ensure the hydro-seeding continues it’s steady growth. Therefore\, the pistol bay will be closed for a short period sometime during the day. DESCRIPTION:The Long Rifle Range will be closed Saturday\, September 16th\, and Sunday\, September the 17th.\nOnce again the weather chose not to cooperate. I’d have bet on that\, but somehow I’m sure I would have still lost some coin.\n\nAs previously posted\, due to wet ground conditions\, we will be closing the Long Rifle range to accommodate a rental that was made earlier in the season (click here for the original post with more details).\n\nThe pistol bay\, as well as all other ranges\, will remain open.\n\nIf using the pistol bay\, please stay only on the gravel road areas. DESCRIPTION:The Long Rifle Range will be closed for maintenance tomorrow\, July 26th\, between 0900 – 1700.\nWith today’s previously announced forestry work\, A small EFGA crew decided to take advantage of today’s closure and coordinate some needed range maintenance. Although a very productive day was completed\, we need one more full day to get the Long Rifle Range back to full operation. \nWe’re re-configuring the backstops and gongs after the recent GY6 event. Tomorrow’s forecast looks good\, and the small volunteer crew is preparing to hang a literal metric-ton of gongs. \nThe rest of the range will remain fully accessible\, and the Long Rifle Range should be open by late afternoon. \n-EFGA
