Unfortunately (fortunately?) there is absolutely no coalition between snow plowing and shotguns. Not an event, but a couple of separate topics deserving a quick news update:

Snow Plowed

We’ve seen a good bit of snow over the last week that required some attention. As of this afternoon, all range roads have been plowed, and the ‘L’ road has been serviced up to about the km 69 marker.

To avoid any potential problems, please travel within all roadways, especially if venturing out to change targets on the rifle ranges.

Shotguns in Pistol Bay

Please do NOT shoot at the installed backboards with shotguns in the pistol bay. Shotgun fire greatly accelerates the rate at which they have to be replaced.

Recently, it appears as though someone systematically tried to shootout much of the backboard as a part of their course of fire. Thanks so much. One was hollowed out to such an extent that it was difficult to staple on any paper targets. Further, not only is a time consuming job to replace them, but the backboards are fast becoming an increasing expense to the club.

Instead, please use any of the standing target holders. These are located around the perimeter of the pistol bay. Everyone is welcome to orient them within an established safe firing line at fire on them with pistols and shotguns alike.

Finally, as a reminder, never post any targets nor shoot directly at the posts.
