The Edson Fish and Game Association will now be holding our monthly meetings at The Parkland Composite High School’s library.
A recently announced substantial increase to our monthly rental space fee has forced us to consider alternative venues.
During December’s general meeting, we discussed a number of options. As a non-profit association, we’d very much prefer to allocate as much funds as possible to the growth and maintenance of our range, as well as various events and programs we host throughout the year.
As part of the Town’s ‘Community Use’ agreement, a handful of venues are made available to the ever growing amount of Edson’s various service and not-for-profit organizations. Considering this initiative, Ryan Hall (long-serving EFGA board member and Parkland Composite High School Assistant Principal) put forward the opportunity of using the school’s library. Attending members and executives unanimously voted in favour of adopting a new home.
So…. Come one, come all. Starting January 3rd, 2017, the Edson Fish and Game Association will be meeting at The Parkland Composite High School’s library. As always, doors open at 7:00pm, meeting starts at 7:30pm sharp.
Parkland Composite High School is located at:
4630 – 12 Avenue, Edson, AB
